Dock Seals |
|
Truck
dock seals shall be Bondor Inflatable Wrap-Around Truck
Seals, Model No. RWA-25, as manufactured by the
Bondor Division of FS Industries, Providence, RI. Truck
seals are to fit door opening sizes of up to 10'-0"
wide x 10'-0"
high with an overall projection of up to 25". Seals
are to cover a truck size range of 7'-6" to 8'-6"
wide and 12'-0" to 13'-6"
high and are to provide an unobstructed entry into both
the trailer and the loading dock door. |

| Construction:
|
|
Units
are to be shipped in sections with all components having
been factory pre-assembled for quality assurance and
ease of
installation. Inflatable drop header and side pads are
to be assembled on 3/4 exterior grade plywood with galvanized
hardware applied to the perimeters and are to be designed
for ease of replacement of individual sections. Inflatable
drop
header is to be housed in the sloped canopy which is
to be an integral component of the Inflatable Wrap-Around
Seal.
Inflatable header and side pads are to include a weepage
system that allows for water drainage with the seal
in either the
inflated or deflated position. Inflatable header and
side pads are to include an internal system that retracts
these components
tightly and neatly when deflated without any unsightly
material "ballooning". |
