Select
a dock seal projection by adding 4" to 6"
to your combined existing setback and dock bumper
projection. (See sketch) If there is no existing bumper
or setback dimension, select the 10" projection.

square or beveled sidepads. (Beveled pads are recommended
for door openings wider than 7' 4".) |

Truck
dock seals shall be as manufactured by the Bondor Division
of FS Industries, Providence, RI, to fit a door opening
of
8' wide x 8' high. |

| Construction |
|
|
Pads to
have a polyurethane foam core bonded to a 2"
x 12" kiln dried wood backboard to give a finished
projection of
______________. Side pads to have 4" wide contrasting
guide stripe sewn on. Bottom of pads to have 3"
upward taper to
prevent pinching between truck and bumpers. Bottom
of pads to be open to allow for escape of air during
compression and
to prevent condensation. Header pad shall be sized
to fit over (not between) side pads to prevent water
from entering alongthe side pads. Header to breathe
through grommets on underside of pad.
